Singapore Children's Society
Many youths all over the world face a future with little or no support to break free from poverty. Their plight is the inspiration behind our long-term commitment to charity. We want to orchestrate big projects to help them lead bigger, better lives.
In 2006, GMP organised the Bright Future Workshops to help students plan for their career dreams. GMP raised $15,000 for the Singapore Children's Society and was conferred the Silver Award in recognition for our efforts.
GMP Charity Drive 2007
In its latest effort to give back to society, GMP initiated a donation drive for the GMP Scholarship, which was awarded to ten deserving Thai undergraduates. The scholarship was established in honour of GMP's late founder, Dr Giam Cheng Lan.
GMP raised successfully more than S$25,000 from staff donations, corporate sponsorships and the sale of its 2008 calendars and notebooks.
GMP would like to express a few words of gratitude to the sponsors and donors of our campaign. The success in enriching the lives of our beneficiaries is shared with them, and we'd like to thank them for every life that is made better and every day that is made brighter.
