Our client is a leading Marine Fuels/Bunker Supplier. In view of expansion, they are currently seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join them as “Senior/Executive (Business Development)(For Port/Bunkering Services)”.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following :
- Exploring new ports for bunkering operations.
- Engaging with potential partners in target countries.
- Meeting port requirements and obtaining the necessary licenses or approvals to operate.
- Establishing operational processes in new locations.
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Business, Maritime Studies or equivalent
- Ideally 2 to 3+ years in relevant port and operational development experience in the marine fuels or shipping industry.
- Proven success in developing and maintaining key customer relationships
- Excellent commercial negotiation, communication and networking skills
- Strong analytical mindset
- Comfortable with frequent regional and international travel, as the role involves hands-on work at multiple port locations
