Our client is a key player in the Maritime Industry. Currently, they are seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join them as “Operations Executive (DG/OOG/Post Fixture/Container)(Open to entry level Maritime Candidates)”.

In this role, you will be contributing in the following areas :

• To handle end-to-end ship operations, ensuring efficiency, cost effectiveness and seamless execution across all processes.

• Review and process DG/OOG applications in compliance with IMDG Code and internal guidelines

• Procure bunkers by negotiating competitive prices and coordinating timely, reliable supply.

• Handle post-fixture activities including charter hire payments, ship deliveries/redeliveries, liaising with brokers/owners, etc.

• Manage daily ship operations, scheduling, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient voyages.

• Plan and optimise vessel stowage to maximise cargo space utilisation and minimise operational costs.

• Support additional operational tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Maritime Studies or related field.
• Ideally 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in container shipping operations.
• Also open to entry level Maritime candidates
• Stowage planning experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends, public holidays and standby for emergencies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Team player with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
