- Set the sales direction and define pursuit strategies for key projects and target accounts.
- Work closely with the Corporate Global Construction Team to drive collaboration across SSCs and support global initiatives where needed.
- Act as the go-to fluid systems expert for the company, leading a team that provides both technical support and internal training.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new capital project opportunities in the upstream oil and gas market, especially floating production projects such as FPSOs, FSOs and FSUs.
- Build strong relationships with owners, operators, EPCs, shipyards, OEMs, package vendors, and other project influencers.
- Engage customers early in the project lifecycle (pre-FEED, FEED, specification, and tender stages) to improve positioning and win rates.
- Promote the company’s products, solutions, and services to support project specifications and commercial success.
- Lead and manage the project sales pipeline, ensuring high-quality opportunity development, regular follow-up, and accurate forecasting.
- Guide and coach sales associates to improve pursuit effectiveness, sales discipline, and execution quality.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams including applications, engineering, proposals, customer service, operations, and management to support project pursuit activities.
- Prepare and deliver high-impact commercial presentations, value propositions, and executive-level engagement materials.
- Monitor market developments, competitor activity, and project movements and develop strategies to address competitive pressures and identify new business opportunities.
- Support strategic account planning and long-term business development initiatives to expand market presence in the offshore upstream segment.
- People management including recruitment, orientation, retention, well-being, and disciplinary action.
- Other duties and assignments as assigned from time to time.
