Business System Analyst (Permanent – Banking & Lending Systems)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end delivery of Loans and Lending technology initiatives, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and quality execution through project closure.
  • Prepare project documentation including charters, scope statements, risk assessments, budgets, and IT value assessments.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate needs into functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Review and oversee deliverables from external Business Analysts, ensuring compliance with internal standards, architecture, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide functional leadership across vendor BA workstreams, including requirements management, solution documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to identify solutions that address operational challenges and business objectives.
  • Contribute to solution design, project scoping, and target-state definition alongside key stakeholders.
  • Work with Engineering and Architecture teams to ensure solution alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
  • Support L1/L2 teams in production application maintenance, issue analysis, and continuous service improvement.
  • Coordinate with vendors, partners, and offshore teams to drive successful project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of direct experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or technology delivery in Banking industry, with strong knowledge of loan origination systems, lending products, and loan operations.
  • Hands-on experience in banking process re-engineering and technology solution design.
  • Exposure to Investment Banking or Corporate Banking environments; Asia Pacific experience preferred.
  • Understanding of APAC banking regulations, cloud governance, third-party risk management, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with solution architecture principles, design patterns, and business-technology solutioning practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Experience managing vendors, external partners, and cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMP are advantageous.
