Main Responsibilities

Business Needs Analysis: Collaborate with Sponsors and Product Owners to review and clarify business needs, ensuring they are clearly defined and effectively communicated to the team.

Arbitration & Prioritization: Facilitate decision-making when arbitration or prioritization is required across multiple projects or needs.

Backlog Management: Oversee and maintain the product backlog in JIRA, ensuring all tickets are well-structured, contain complete information, have all sub-tasks listed, sprint scope defined, and statuses updated.

Team Coordination: Manage and coordinate daily team activities, organizing and facilitating regular team meetings.

Project Management: Apply project management processes, including governance, planning, estimation, resource allocation, quality assurance, and risk/issue management.

Planning & Execution: Lead the overall planning, execution, and monitoring of all projects.

Stakeholder Management: Engage with and report to key stakeholders on application evolution, project progress, risks, and issues.

Documentation: Ensure all application and project documentation is complete, up to date, and easily accessible.

Application Support: Oversee application support processes across L1/L2/L3, including system health checks, security reviews, access control, BCP/DRP activities, and internal/external audits.

Skills Development: Support the Team Head in identifying skill gaps and recommending relevant training for team members.
Qualifications & Profile
-
Minimum of 8 years in Application Management, Delivery Management, or Project Management.

Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
-
PMP, PRINCE2, Agile ACP or CSM, CBAP, or equivalent.
Primary Skills
-
Application Management: Proven ability to align IT solutions with business goals and strategize solution evolution.
-
Stakeholder Management: Expertise in leading workshops, conducting interviews, and facilitating discussions with business and technical teams.

Project Management: Skilled in defining/managing scope, timelines, and deliverables; experienced in Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies.
-
Risk & Change Management: Proficient in managing project risks and changes effectively.
-
Strong understanding of SDLC, software development best practices, BDD, and quality assurance.
-
Deep knowledge of Agile practices and experience working in Agile environments.
-
Skilled in incident management, problem management, and technical troubleshooting.
Secondary Skills
-
Understanding of international trade & commodity finance or banking is a plus.
-
Process Modelling: Proficient in workflow analysis, business process modeling (UML/BPMN).
-
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards in banking/finance.

Technical Skills:

Event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, WebSphere MQ).
-
Workflow design tools (BPMN, Visio, Draw.io).
-
Project management tools (MS Project).
-
SQL query and analysis (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL).
-
API understanding and testing (Postman).
-
Test automation basics (Cucumber, Citrus, Xray for Jira).
-
Prior software engineering experience is an advantage.
