  • Conduct sampling, inspection, testing, and release of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.

  • Manage samples (receiving, labeling, storage) with safety information.

  • Review Certificates of Analysis (CoA) for compliance.

  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot lab equipment to ensure test accuracy.

  • Manage lab supplies and documentation.

  • Report and address quality/safety non-conformances; issue and close NC forms with suppliers.

  • Support internal/external audits and ensure compliance with QEHSMS, ISO standards, and safety rules.

  • Ensure 5S workplace standards, safety, and security in the lab.

  • Assist QA Manager with additional tasks as needed.

Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Chemistry, Chemical/Polymer/Materials Science, or related field.

  • 12 years QA/lab experience in paints, coatings, or chemical industry (fresh grads considered).

  • Hands-on paint/raw material testing; knowledge of ASTM, ISO, BS standards preferred.

  • Skilled in calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting lab equipment.

  • Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, QEHSMS, and chemical handling safety.

  • Strong analytical, technical specification review, and reporting skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; accurate in documentation.

  • Responsible, detail-oriented, proactive, good teamwork and communication skills.

  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
