Associate Cloud Platform and DevOps Lead (Permanent, Banking)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of the cloud platform service, focusing on Azure and cloud-native services to ensure robust, scalable, and secure PaaS offerings
  • Oversee the DevOps and automation platform, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and best practices
  • Managing and optimizing the hybrid container platform using Red Hat OpenShift for diverse application workloads.
  • Establish and enforce engineering standards, architecture blueprints, and operational procedures
  • Mentor and inspire a high-performing team of cloud architects and engineers while developing and overseeing customer identity and access management strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specializing in Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP, with extensive use of cloud-native services, preferably in financial institutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation, and hands-on experience with CIAM solutions, specifically Ping Identity.
  • Expert-level experience designing, building, and maintaining complex CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins, along with production experience in container orchestration using OCP/AKS, including cluster management and service mesh.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing observability solutions with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Application Insights
  • Advanced scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for infrastructure automation, with a strong grasp of cloud networking concepts like VPNs, load balancers, API gateways, and DNS.
  • Certifications in TOGAF and Cloud Architecture (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
