DBA (Oracle, Golden Gate) (Contract)

  • Ensure the organization’s competitive advantage and growth by delivering high-quality Service Operations, maintaining system availability, optimizing support processes, and leading the operations team to uphold service excellence.
  • Manage complex incidents, oversee daily service operations, and coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve issues while ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies, develop streamlined procedures, and enhance service performance while reducing disruptions.
  • Work with technical teams to resolve service-related product issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term corrective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes and proactively drive automation and optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
  • Remain available for after-hours support and escalations, and execute system changes as required by business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent in-country qualification in Telecommunications.
  • Industry-recognized certifications including RHCSA/RHCE, Oracle Certified Professional, and ITIL v4 Foundation Certificate.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in application and system support, with a strong track record of delivering services in line with defined SLAs and direct engagement with external customers.
  • Proficient in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7/8 operating systems.
  • Experienced with Oracle 19c, including RAC, Oracle Vault, Data Masking, GoldenGate, and Active Data Guard.
  • Hands-on experience in the Access and Certificate Management (ACM) domain, where applicable.
