Jobscope:
- Manage and maintain electrical systems and power distribution up to 66kV.
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure equipment reliability.
- Support the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems.
- Provide technical support for plant operations and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Prepare cost estimates and provide engineering support for plant projects.
- Train maintenance personnel on electrical safety and related procedures.
- Act as the technical focal point for electrical systems and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in the E&I on-call rotation to provide technical support when required
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Process Controls or equivalent
- Minimum 2 – 5 years of experience in electrical engineering activities in the chemical or petrochemical industry
- Extensive knowledge of the current Siemens GIS and SCS
- Open-minded towards team concept
- Good communication skills and adaptive to cultural differences
- Ability to work with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and environmental concerns
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, etc.)
- Usage and understanding of technical drawings such as P&ID’s, electrical and instrument drawings and equipment manuals is a requirement for this position
- Willingness and ability to attend internal and external trainings, if necessary abroad
- This position requires a responsibility to assist with the production of the site which are in 24/7/365 operations and is therefore required to be on-call
- Candidate must be willing to work in Jurong Island (company transport provided)
