KEY ROLES &RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with Sales to understand customer requirements, and ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Project Engineers and Drafters to strengthen technical capability, customer engagement,and overall team performance.
- Provide direct engineering guidance andtechnical problem-solving support for Custom Solutions projects and liaise withcustomers to resolve issues and implement improvements for recurring concerns.
- Review and approve engineering documentation,technical deliverables, material requisitions, procurement requirements, and project-related records.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with the Swagelok Quality System (SQS), company policies, customer specifications,and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary escalation point for technical, project, and customer-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective stakeholder communication.
- During periods of high workload or resource constraints, step in to perform engineering work directly to support delivery commitments and maintain operational effectiveness.
- Drive quality and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with QA/QC to strengthen engineering processes and deliver consistent outcomes.
Requirement
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
- Possess at least 10 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Custom Design or Project based work.
- Minimum 2–3 years of people management or team leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of engineering project execution, engineering documentation, procurement processes, testing, and commissioning activities.
