Legal Counsel

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including vendor, employment, NDA, and licensing contracts. 
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure business operations and corporate policies adhere to relevant local, state, and international regulations. 
  • Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks in business strategies and advise the executive team on proactive solutions. 
  • Dispute Resolution: Manage litigation, handle claims, and liaise with external legal counsel when specialized expertise is needed. 
  • Corporate Governance: Support board meetings, maintain corporate records, and advise on employment law and data privacy matters. 

Ideal Qualifications

  • Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house
  • Business Acumen: The ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable, and pragmatic business solutions.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
