Responsibilities:
- Manage and support global middleware production services (Control-M, CFT, MQ)
- Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance stability
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests
- Collaborate with development, project, and business teams on requirements and delivery
- Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform technical analysis and performance optimisation
- Support and enhance middleware platforms and interfaces
- Develop self-service workflows and automation solutions
- Participate in regional/global projects and strategic initiatives
- Provide on-call and shift support (rotational basis)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in middleware / infrastructure
- Technical Skills (Must Have):
- Operating Systems: Linux / Unix / Windows
- Middleware: BMC Control-M, Axway CFT / Secure Transport / Sentinel, IBM MQ
- Monitoring Tools: OMI, ServiceNow, Geneos
- Scripting: Shell, Python, Java, PowerShell, Perl
- Good understanding of ITIL (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
- Nice to Have:
- Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, ElasticSearch, Rundeck, Git
- DevOps tools & frameworks
- BMC Control-M Certification (v9)
- Experience in banking / financial services
- IBM MQ expertise
