Responsibilities
- Proactively develop and maintain the overall infrastructure technology landscape, guiding regional and global rationalization efforts, while reviewing current infrastructure conditions across regional offices and branches to propose centralization and transformation aligned with IT strategies.
- Lead the design and implementation of IT infrastructure solutions that align with organizational goals, comply with stringent banking industry regulatory and security requirements, and ensure availability, scalability, and performance, while contributing to organizational strategy through planning and analyzing business demand and technical architecture.
- Collaborate with global infrastructure architects to evaluate, design, and develop strategic standards for implementation, while understanding and addressing the needs of the organization, application teams, and branches to create infrastructure platforms that align with company goals and foster a culture of innovation.
- Develop and maintain engineering and architecture documentation as standardized references for the organization.
- Lead system engineers and implementation teams in the design and implementation of systems based on approved high-level architectures, including physical and virtual platforms, OS, database servers, application servers, API, network, and monitoring components.
- Organize and coordinate efforts across hybrid cloud infrastructure domains, including Cloud Platform, Storage, Server Platform, Network, Database, and End User Services, integrating external vendors and offshore partners to drive collaboration and maximize synergy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with approximately 15 years of experience providing IT services to financial institutions, alongside proficiency in system integration patterns, enterprise architecture, microservices architecture, and cloud computing services.
- Extensive experience as an Infrastructure Solution Architect in a multinational banking environment, with a solid understanding of MAS regulations, and a proven track record of thinking strategically and analytically to implement innovative solutions that drive organizational performance.
- Expertise in conceptualizing scalable and resilient technical architecture solutions involving end-to-end integration across channels, systems, middleware, and data warehouses, with a strong background in integrating commercial off-the-shelf products and cloud solutions; TOGAF and cloud solution architecture certifications are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple countries and departments, combined with strong people management capabilities, including recruitment, appraisals, mentoring, coaching, and staff motivation.
- Possessing functional and development expertise in at least one of the following technical domains:
o Database: Azure SQL DB, Microsoft SQL DB, Oracle Database
o Storage: Azure Storage, Files, SAN FC storage
o Container: Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Red Hat OpenShift
o IAM: Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Active Directory
o Network: Azure NSG, Firewall, Proxy
o Virtualization: Azure VM, Broadcom VCF/VVF, Nutanix AOS & AHV
