- Act as APAC IT representative for global initiatives such as HR systems, data platforms, and other enterprise programs
- Support Global IT Project Manager in planning, execution, and reporting activities
- Ensure APAC deliverables align with global governance, standards, and timelines
- Participate in global project meetings, status updates, and design discussions
- Lead end-to-end APAC IT workstreams from planning through hypercare
- Define and maintain APAC project plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies
- Coordinate IT delivery across multiple APAC countries and entities
- Monitor progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and mitigations
- Serve as primary liaison between global IT, APAC business/IT stakeholders, and external vendors
- Align regional requirements with global system design and delivery approach
- Escalate key issues and provide reporting to APAC management and senior stakeholders
- Manage vendor delivery, timelines, and quality of outputs
- Oversee APAC activities for system integrations, data migration, validation, and security controls
- Ensure infrastructure and environment readiness across regions
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory, data privacy, and security requirements
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and stabilization activities across APAC
- Support regional change management, communications, and training coordination
- Ensure smooth post-go-live support and issue resolution
- Prepare status reports, dashboards, and escalation materials for regional and global stakeholders
- Maintain accurate project documentation aligned with global standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, Finance, or related field
- Master’s degree or equivalent certification is an advantage
- 10–15 years of experience in program/project management in data, analytics, or enterprise transformation
- Proven experience leading regional or global programs across APAC
- Strong exposure to senior stakeholder management including executives and country heads
- Experience in business change management, requirement alignment, and adoption
- Background in regulated industries such as banking or financial services preferred
- Strong stakeholder alignment, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication and influence skills in matrix and cross-cultural environments
- Ability to translate business objectives into delivery plans without deep technical dependency
- Strong understanding of data and analytics delivery lifecycle and governance principles
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and dependencies across teams
- Strong risk, issue, and dependency management capability
- Understanding of enterprise data platforms, data governance, data quality, and security/privacy concepts
- Ability to engage with technical teams while maintaining business focus on outcomes
- Strong leadership presence with ability to influence without authority
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability
- Highly organized, resilient, and comfortable in complex environments
- Collaborative and culturally sensitive approach
- Experience in APAC or multi-country program delivery
- Exposure to data transformation or data governance initiatives preferred
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is an advantage
