Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and ensure that all subcontractors’ PQPs are fully aligned with and compliant to the Company’s PQP requirements.
- Oversee and monitor subcontractors’ Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring all requirements are fully implemented and adhered to throughout project execution.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
- Review and approve quality control documentation, including method statements, inspection checklists, and test reports.
- Coordinate with site engineers and construction teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and report on the quality performance of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet the required quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain quality records and documentation for project handover.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on quality-related matters.
- Conduct training sessions for site personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality-related issues.
- Monitor corrective actions and process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control in the construction industry.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
- Knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware and software
- Good with numbers
- Strong knowledge of construction quality standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in quality management systems and tools.
