Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of reader devices and security detection technology on from R&D concept to industrial scale.
- Perform DOE of measurements and simulations and compile insights into actionable plans.
- Collaborate with subcontractors to design and manufacture next-generation detection units.
- Improve existing technologies and develop new measurement methods to ensure top-tier detection performance.
- Provide technical training and support to clients and be Point of Contact.
- Manage a R&D lab, guide your team’s growth, and ensure projects stay on track and deliver exceptional results.
- Prepare clear, compelling demonstrations for stakeholders and potential clients.
- Oversee rapid development of POCs for concept validation.
- Report findings to management and stakeholders with clarity and precision.
Requirements:
- A PhD in Physics, or a related discipline.
- With minimum of 8-10 years relevant experience in R&D application of electronics devices/embedded technology.
- Deep knowledge of radiation sources, spectroscopy, or reader devices.
- Experience in commercializing new technology for international project teams.
- Industrial manufacturing experience.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills you can explain complex science in simple terms.
- A collaborative, hands-on, solutions-focused mindset.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours to bridge global teams.
