• To provide engineering support and assist marketing with retention of existing clients & seek new clients for ship building division.
• Assist commercial newbuilding and commercial ship repair in tender exercise for newbuilding and conversion projects.
• Review of contract, technical and equipment specification to meet design obligation.
• Generate basic design concept to align with new building tender.
• Prepare drawing schedule and arrange for technical meeting with client, classification, designer, vendor and system integrators.
• Execute new building design and engineering production plan for awarded new building projects.
• Carry out Interpretation of classification rules and Maritime regulation. Ability to read design drawings.
• To work independently with a team.

Requirements:

• Polytechnic / Degree in Marine or Naval Arch. or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of engineering experience in marine or offshore related industries.
• Understand basic shipbuilding and project process. Able to comprehend technical specifications and carry out discussion with clients.
• Analytical Ability.
• Communication Skills.
• Interpersonal Skills.
• Microsoft Words, Excel, Power point and AutoCad.
• Need to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients/vendors (China/Taiwan)
• Required to travel to Indonesia, Taiwan and other countries for technical meeting.
