Jobscope:

  • Implement and monitor strategies, policies, and programs that promote sustainability development related to environmental protection, management, and ISO management systems.
  • Advise and oversee all environmental-related matters.
  • Ensure corporate compliance with environmental legislation and lenders requirements in environmental due diligence, and liaise with relevant authorities on environmental issues.
  • Implement ISO 14001 and align with the Integrated Management System (IMS), including ISO 9001, ISO 50001, ISO 27001, and ISO 22301.
  • Project corporate social responsibility and build rapport with the community.
  • Manage daily disposal of general waste and weekly pest control operations in compliance with regulations.
  • Water and Energy Conservation and resources optimization
  • Supervise and control contractors management
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance time, cost, and quality management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Chemical or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 3-7 years technical experience, preferably in the power sector
  • Strong interest in environmental management, environmental issues and
  • Familiar with local environmental regulations and recognised international environmental standards
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and combustion processes
  • Skilled in contractor management, compliance, and Permit-to-Work enforcement
  • Competent in emergency response (e.g., spills, confined space, gas handling)
