Our client is a reputable name in the Shipping Industry. Currently, they are seeking a well qualified candidate to join them as ” Manager (Human Resources)(Regional)”.

In this role, you will be contributing in the following areas :

  • Responsible for partnering with internal stakeholders and country HR across asia regions to ensure alignment and consistency with corporate guidelines and HR policies.
  • Work with country HR and global C&B function to review and validate regional compensation structure and ensure job grading salary structures are aligned with market benchmarks to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of year-end and mid-year performance review cycles across the region.
  • Ensure consistent interpretation of performance management framework, policies and processes across the region through effective communication of performance management framework and processes to stakeholders across the region.
  • Facilitate regional talent review and succession planning sessions to identify high-potential employees and critical roles.
  • Drive internal mobility programs and oversee cross-border talent transfers, secondments, and relocations within the region.
  • Partner with Finance and Country HR to lead the annual HR budgeting process (such as headcount, compensation, L&D …).
  • Apply headcount data governance concepts and principles to identify, collect and prepare data for HR metrics benchmarking for regional headcount using dashboards or data visualisation tools.
  • Act as main liaison for HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors) matters, supporting regional roll-out of HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors) modules and enhancements, and collating feedback to drive continuous feedback.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree holder in Human Resources / Human Capital Development / Reward Management or HR-related discipline
  • At least 7 years of experience, preferably 5 of which in a regional role
  • Effective in project management, HR management, reward management, workforce planning and HR Business Partnering
  • Proactive with the ability to build strong relationship with internal stakeholders and possesses strong written and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and HRIS platforms
